The Opportunity

Dilawri Group in Ontario is actively seeking a Receptionist to join the opening team at Kia Vaughan.

Pay Range: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers and visitors to the dealership in a warm, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Determine the purpose of each customer’s visit and promptly connect them with the appropriate department or team member.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls accurately and efficiently.
  • Record and distribute complete and accurate messages.
  • Respond to general inquiries and provide customers with appropriate dealership information.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and showroom area.
  • Assist with vehicle licensing documentation and related administrative processes.
  • Prepare documentation and information required for dealer trades, vehicle pickups, and deliveries.
  • Collect and process receipts, payments, and other documentation as required.
  • Support the coordination and organization of dealership records and customer files.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, deliveries, and correspondence.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to dealership departments.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of customer, employee, and dealership information.
  • Collaborate with dealership team members to support an efficient and positive customer experience.
  • Perform other administrative duties required to support dealership operations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years of reception, customer service, or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous automotive dealership experience is preferred.
  • Vehicle licensing experience is required.
  • Experience using One-Eighty, a customer relationship management system, or comparable dealership software is considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner.
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused demeanour.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately record and communicate messages and information.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and focused while providing exceptional service.
  • Positive and solutions-oriented approach to resolving issues.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and bring them to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
