Lean Process Improvement Specialist

Position: Lean Process Improvement Specialist at Metrie
Join Metrie as a Lean Process Improvement Specialist to optimize our Calgary operations. This role focuses on driving impactful changes in a revered interior millwork company.

Reporting directly to the Business Improvement Manager, you will spearhead continuous improvement efforts in our manufacturing processes. By analyzing workflows and enhancing operational performance, you will collaborate closely with teams across the organization. Your strong background in Lean methodologies will be key in translating business goals into actionable, measurable projects that lead to significant cost reductions and enhanced productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead improvements in manufacturing safety and quality

• Identify inefficiencies through data analysis of plant KPIs

• Execute Lean strategies to align initiatives with business objectives

• Develop and track KPIs to validate operational enhancements

• Mentor and coach staff on Lean tools and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related fields preferred

• 5-7 years' experience in continuous improvement

• Advanced proficiency in Lean Six Sigma methodologies

• Proven ability in driving cultural transformations

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
