Lead the estimating process for high-rise projects with Empire Homes in Vaughan, ON. This 12-month contract focuses on cost management and budget oversight throughout all construction phases.
As the Director of Estimating, you will oversee estimating activities while integrating your 10+ years of high-rise construction experience. Your skills in cost estimating, project management, and construction methods will be essential for driving project success. You'll manage budgets, cash flows, and collaborate with departments to review project finances.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop high-level and elemental construction budgets
• Update estimating databases with current market data
• Distribute monthly construction and labour control schedules
• Prepare and review monthly budgets with teams
• Enhance Job Cost Excel programs continuously
Requirements:
• 10+ years in high-rise estimating or quantity surveying
• Proficient in SharePoint, Excel, and On Centre
• Knowledge of construction codes and methodologies
• Degree in Construction Management or Project Management
• PQS designation is a plus
