Position: Senior Project Engineer at Valard Construction
Valard Construction seeks a Senior Project Engineer to enhance our Greater Toronto Area team. Focus on EPC projects that prioritize cost-effective designs and robust support.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will ensure project specifications meet rigorous quality standards while acting as a technical advisor. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting technical issues, reviewing designs, and managing project documentation. This position involves occasional travel, up to 25%, as you support multiple construction efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as liaison for construction technical inquiries

• Identify technical construction issues and propose solutions

• Validate specifications and manage project quality

• Develop projects' scope, estimates, and budgets

• Maintain relationships with clients and internal teams

Requirements:

• Engineering degree in related field

• 10 years technical experience in construction

• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings

• Solid understanding of utility construction standards

• Proficiency with Office Suite and project management tools
