Position: Director of Cost Estimating - Empire Homes
Join Empire Homes as the Director of Estimating, focusing on high-rise residential construction in Vaughan, ON.

This role offers a 12-month contract dedicated to budget and estimating excellence.

You will leverage over a decade of estimating experience to lead cost estimation for high-rise projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local standards. Collaboration with various teams is essential for maintaining budgets and evaluating project financials during construction lifecycle phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage high-level construction budgets

• Continuously update estimating cost databases

• Distribute site-specific construction schedules to project managers

• Prepare monthly budgets and facilitate team reviews

• Improve Job Cost Excel tools for better accuracy

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of estimating experience in high-rise construction

• Expertise in SharePoint, Excel, and estimation software

• Familiarity with building codes and construction methods

• Relevant degree in Construction Management or a similar field

• PQS certification preferred
