Join a professional team as an Asphalt Milling Machine Operator specializing in road grinding in the GTA. Focus on high-quality, precise work in a full-time, seasonal position.
We are on the lookout for an experienced operator for large milling machines used in municipal and heavy civil projects. This role requires strong communication skills and adherence to safety protocols while executing tasks. Your primary duties will consist of operating milling machines and ensuring smooth project execution in collaboration with ground crews.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate asphalt milling machines efficiently and safely
• Execute depth-controlled milling in accordance with specifications
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the equipment daily
• Maintain safety protocols on-site with crews and supervisors
• Keep work areas clean and organized
Requirements:
• 2–3 years of experience operating milling equipment
• Knowledge of large cold planer machines
• Valid driver’s licence (AZ/DZ preferred)
• Ability to work long hours and adapt to conditions
• Strong commitment to safety measures
