As a Scraper Operator at Sureway, you will be responsible for shaping and contouring construction sites. This job demands hard work and flexibility in physically challenging conditions. You will work locally on projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols while operating machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate scraper to regulate blade height and bowl
• Shape terrain to specified grade using hand signals
• Maintain safe operation by adjusting speed according to conditions
• Use cushion hitch correctly while scraping
• Promote safety culture among coworkers and subcontractors
Requirements:
• Minimum one year operating a scraper (push-pull & auger)
• Reliable personal vehicle for daily commutes
• CSA approved steel-toed boots with ankle support
• Ability to perform drug and alcohol testing
• Complete necessary orientations successfully
