Skilled Equipment Operator

Position: Skilled Equipment Operator at Rising Edge Group
Join Rising Edge Group as a Skilled Equipment Operator and contribute to high-voltage infrastructure projects. Ensure safety and efficiency while operating a diverse range of heavy equipment.

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will handle various machinery, conduct pre-trip inspections, and liaise with site supervisors. Your expertise is vital for maintaining operational safety and efficiency on construction sites, especially in challenging environments with underground utilities and overhead power lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate construction equipment such as backhoes and excavators

• Conduct pre and post-trip inspections on equipment

• Maintain compliance with site safety regulations

• Work collaboratively with site crews to meet project goals

• Ensure all documentation for equipment is up to date

Requirements:

• Class 5 Driver's License with clean record

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years in heavy equipment operation

• Mechanically inclined with maintenance skills

• Safety certifications such as First Aid or CSTS a plus
