Construction Health and Safety Coordinator Position

Become a pivotal part of KAPP Infrastructure's team as a Construction Health and Safety Coordinator in Vaughan, Ontario, fostering a safe work environment through comprehensive safety protocols.

In this role, you will report to the Health & Safety Manager, supporting the development and implementation of the Safety Program aligned with ISO 45001. You are responsible for facilitating new worker orientations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and tracking safety documentation. Your proactive approach will support the overall well-being of employees and contribute to a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and review the OHSMS according to ISO standards

• Coordinate safety training and develop safety materials

• Conduct inspections and monitor compliance

• Collaborate with project teams on safety requirements

• Report and investigate safety incidents

Requirements:

• 1–2 years in health and safety within construction

• Preferred education in Occupational Health and Safety

• Familiarity with regulations and ISO standards

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Willingness to travel across the Greater Toronto Area
