Adlers Main Tile and Carpet Co Ltd are looking for an experienced estimator to join our growing team.

We are looking for a candiate with experience in Residential High-Rise, Condo towers, etc.

Adlers is a flooring contractor - Division 9 Floor Finishes. We install all kinds of flooring finishes in Commercial, Industrial, and Residential projects. Some of our notable projects include Walmart, Loblaws, Metro, Sick Kids Hospital, Union Station, Car Dealerships (Jag/Landrover, VW, Mercedes). We work with construction companies like PCL, Ellis Don, Bird, Pomerleau, etc. We have been in business for 41 years.

We work all over Ontario and also across Canada (excluding Quebec). Our brand is one of the top names in the Canadian Flooring Contractor Industry.

This is an in-person in-office position at our Vaughan, Ontario location. Working Hours 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday. 30 hours per week.

Looking for individuals with experience in the flooring industry as well as estimation software. We use Plan Swift as our primary takeoff software.

Your duties will be to estimate the cost of projects and put them into a quotation for use at tender time. We want someone who knows all about this process.

Compensation will be equal to the amount of experience and industry connections that you bring to the table.

Candidates who can hit the ground running and bring us clients are highly sought after and will be compensated accordingly.

Job Description Continued:
  • Select suitable projects by obtaining tender documents and keep informed of changes during the tendering process.
  • Visualize, analyze and communicate project scope of work by reviewing tender packages and contract documents.
  • Prepare quantity take-off for materials, labour, equipment by analyzing drawings and specifications
  • Contact suppliers for pricing quotes on the material used to correctly estimate projects.
  • Collaborate with architects and contractors during the estimating phase to ensure the overall accuracy of our quotation.
  • Actively using various estimating software to come up with an accurate estimate.
