ISR Gardening Inc. is currently looking for a Construction Labourer to join their team based out of Thornhill Ontario. The Construction Labourer is responsible to assist skilled tradespersons and perform labouring activities at job sites.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Load and unload various materials, and move materials to work areas

Erect and dismantle concrete forms, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at landscaped sites

Mix and spread materials such as soils and concrete

Assist landscaping, paving and other trades on sites

Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities

Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel

Remove rubble and other debris at job sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment

Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed

Direct traffic at or near job sites

Spread topsoil, lay sod, plant flowers, grass, shrubs and trees and perform other duties to assist with the construction of a landscape structures

Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments

Participate in company safety training

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

1 to 2 years of experience as Construction Labourer is preferred

Ability to interact with people effectively and in a professional manner

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
