Construction Tile Setter Helper

Support tile setting across changing construction locations using hand tools, drills, and concrete equipment. Frequent travel and outdoor work are required.

This Tile Setter Helper position requires English, one to less than two years of experience, and relevant trade training or equivalent experience. Work includes high-rise construction sites, swimming pools, and other construction settings. You will read blueprints, prepare materials, clear debris, and assist with drilling and blasting rock. The work may involve heights, confined spaces, noise, dust, and heat.

• Read blueprints to determine construction work requirements
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete and asphalt materials
• Assist with drilling and blasting rock onsite
• Remove rubble and debris from construction sites
• Use drills, saws, jackhammers, and hand tools

• English language ability
• Trade certificate, diploma, or equivalent experience
• One to less than two years of experience
• WHMIS certificate and working at heights training
• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle

Build practical construction experience through blueprint reading, material preparation, equipment operation, and debris removal across varied worksites.
