Security - Emergency Dispatcher

• Receive and dispatch emergency calls by telephone and radio.
• Receive internal/external telephone calls.
• Transfer information to the appropriate person in a courteous, professional and timely manner.
• Ensure appropriate documentation of multi-dispatch calls.

• Candidates enrolled in or graduate of an Emergency Telecommunications or 911 Communications program or possess equivalent work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Individuals that are able to problem solve and prioritize effectively.
• Candidates that are highly organized and demonstrate strong multi-tasking skills.
• Previous experience with multi-line phone systems an asset.
• Availability that includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekend and holidays.
