The Tier 1 Patient and Member Support Representative plays a critical role in providing outstanding customer service to patients and members within a call center environment. This position involves managing inbound calls, emails, and chats to address inquiries, resolve issues, coordinate queues, and provide information about Teladoc Health services.
The representative ensures high customer satisfaction by addressing concerns professionally and efficiently, while occasionally handling crisis situations. The versatility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
Responsibilities- Managing inbound calls, emails, and chats to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Coordinating queues and providing information about Teladoc Health services.
- Ensuring high customer satisfaction by addressing concerns professionally and efficiently, including handling crisis situations when necessary.
- Working independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
- Utilizing outstanding telephonic communication abilities to clearly explain complex concepts to a diverse member base.
- Applying superior problem‑solving capabilities and organizational acumen to address challenges effectively.
- Exceptional empathy, actively engaging with members & patients, demonstrating a genuine understanding of their needs.
- Exemplary organizational skills, adept at managing multiple competing priorities in a high‑paced setting.
- Adaptability to new processes and thriving in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Bi‑lingual proficiency in English and French (required).
- Earn $24 CAD per hour.
- Minimum commitment of only 15 hours per week, with the option to work more hours.
- Flexible work schedule:
Monday to Friday 5:00AM–9:00AM EST;
Thursday and Friday 8:00PM–12:00AM EST;
Saturday and Sunday 5:00AM–10:30AM EST. - Experience in healthcare and technology, building a resume with industry‑relevant skills in virtual healthcare, patient communication, and crisis handling.
