You’ll play a key role in:

• Keeping the hygiene schedule full, balanced, and productive
• Supporting hygienists so they can focus on patient care
• Creating a smooth, stress‑free experience for every patient
• Driving re‑care, retention, and long‑term patient relationships

As a Hygiene Coordinator, you’ll be at the center of both the patient journey and the clinical workflow.

Your day‑to‑day will include:

• Greeting patients and creating a warm, welcoming front desk experience
• Managing phone calls, inquiries, and efficient appointment booking
• Coordinating and optimizing the hygiene schedule, including re‑care and patient flow
• Proactively filling gaps through recall, reactivation, and short‑call lists
• Supporting hygienists by ensuring schedules are productive and well‑balanced
• Managing and maintaining accurate patient records and database integrity
• Processing insurance claims, billing, and follow‑ups with providers
• Identifying opportunities to improve scheduling efficiency and patient flow
• Collaborating with the clinical team to ensure a seamless, high‑quality patient experience
• Helping maintain systems and protocols that keep the clinic running smoothly

You’ll be the person who brings structure, clarity, and flow to every day.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental clinic environment
• Strong understanding of dental billing, insurance, and front desk operations
• Experience with hygiene scheduling, re‑care, and patient flow (strong asset)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Cleardent experience is an asset)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment
• A positive, team‑oriented attitude with a patient‑first mindset
