Senior Manager Architectural Project Design

This role is crucial for developing project schedules, allocating resources, and ensuring the production of high-quality shop drawings using AutoCAD. You will mentor Senior Project Coordinators and foster a collaborative environment. Your leadership will also involve implementing CAD procedures and managing relationships with external freelancers to ensure project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coach a design team of 8–9 professionals

• Schedule and assign projects while managing design workload

• Review and validate detailed shop drawings created by the team

• Address technical inquiries in collaboration with clients

• Manage external freelancers and oversee project billing

Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 years in the commercial construction sector

• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional design teams

• Exceptional proficiency in AutoCAD;
Solid Works knowledge preferred

• Insight into custom ceiling design is a strong asset

• Strong organizational and communication skills
