Join the team at Oxford Learning Woodbridge as a part‑time French teacher / tutor / coach. Our hours count – gain valuable teaching experience!

We teach students HOW to learn French and help them improve academic and study skills in a small‑group setting. Class sizes are small, with a maximum of three students per teacher. Curriculum and lessons are provided; lesson planning is not required.

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time, at different levels
• Delivering instruction in French during after‑school and evening hours (4:00 pm–8:00 pm) and some Saturdays (10:00 am–3:00 pm)
• Following Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
• Filling in post‑lesson notes and daily student communication updates
• Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
• Multitasking with up to three students simultaneously

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification, or fourth‑year university student with tutoring experience
• Teaching certification an asset
• Strong background in spoken and written French and English; comfortable teaching up to Grade 9 (Grade 12 preferred)
• Experience teaching or tutoring French at Grade 9–12 or equivalent
• Strong French skills and ability to guide students’ understanding
• Excellent written and oral communication in English

Other requirements:

• In‑person position; must be able to commute to Woodbridge; relocation packages not available
• Subject to vulnerable sector screening
• Commitment until the end of the school year; summer continuation preferred

• Part‑time, evenings Monday‑Friday and Saturday availability
• Salary: $18–$19 per hour
• Delivery: both online and in‑person (as required)
