Approx. 90 minutes between the times of 12:15 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. (depending on school schedule).

Thank you for your interest in a School Assistant (Lunch‑time Supervisor). The role of the school assistant is to provide supervisory support to teaching staff during peak or critical periods of the school day. This position includes lunch period supervision or as needed by the school and yard duty supervision. Successful candidates will be required to complete online (virtual) health and safety training prior to the start date (as well as school in‑service training).

A Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) must be completed by the police services in the jurisdiction in which you reside, this is based on your home address (only accepted by police services within Canada); must be satisfactory to the YRDSB and completed within six (6) months prior to the scheduled start date.
