COSTI Immigrant Services is hiring a Youth Employment Coach to empower young individuals in their journey towards sustainable careers. This full-time, fully on-site role is designed to provide mentorship and essential employment skills.
As a key member of the team, you will deliver targeted pre-employment services and structured mentoring support to youth ages 15 to 29, many of whom face significant barriers. Responsibilities encompass conducting assessments, facilitating workshops, and enhancing employability through tailored action plans. You'll also play a pivotal role in collaborating with employers and community partners to optimize job placement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess participants and match them with mentors
• Create individualized career development plans
• Design and facilitate engaging workshops
• Monitor and document participant progress
• Organize outreach and employer engagement initiatives
Requirements:
• Diploma in Youth Services or similar field
• At least one year of relevant youth services experience
• Familiarity with labour market trends and job search strategies
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort with using digital tools and reporting systems
