Lakes Montessori Casa Teacher

Position: Great Lakes Montessori Casa Teacher Role
Enhance early childhood education as a Casa Teacher for Great Lakes Montessori in Thornhill, Ontario. Teach and nurture children ages 2.5 to 6 in an enriching full-time position.

This role entails creating a supportive and effective learning atmosphere based on Montessori principles. You will be expected to show strong commitment and collaboration skills, all while ensuring compliance with necessary educational standards. Building solid relationships with students and families will be fundamental to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design engaging lessons for children ages 2.5 to 6

• Adhere to relevant Ministry of Education standards

• Create a warm and friendly classroom environment

• Maintain open communication with parents

• Work effectively with fellow educators

Requirements:

• Casa Montessori Diploma and MACTE accreditation required

• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience preferred

• New graduates are encouraged to apply

• Standard first aid with CPR-C certification is necessary

• A valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is mandatory
