French Immersion Teacher

Position: Full-Time French Immersion Teacher Role
The Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board is seeking a full-time French Immersion Teacher to commence on September 1, 2026. This probationary position aims to enrich the French language skills of intermediate students.

As a mid-level teacher, you will need a valid Ontario teaching certificate with qualifications in the Intermediate Division and French as a Second Language. An asset would be additional qualifications in Special Education and a Religious Education Certificate. This role is essential for fostering a love for the French language in a diverse classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create immersive experiences in the French language

• Monitor and evaluate student performance

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve learning outcomes

• Maintain a respectful and inclusive classroom

• Engage parents in their children's educational journey

Requirements:

• Certification with Ontario College of Teachers required

• Experience in Intermediate Division and FSL necessary

• Special Education credentials an advantage

• Religious Education Certificate desired
