Hybrid Instructional Designer

Take on a pivotal role as an Instructional Designer & Trainer with a leading environmental services firm in Vaughan, ON. Focus on developing innovative training programs while collaborating with experts.

In this full-time, permanent role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of engaging training materials. Your expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design will be crucial in shaping effective learning solutions that meet the needs of the target audience. Work hybrid, with three on-site days per week, alongside a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing the learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to identify training needs and define objectives

• Analyze audience needs to create effective learning solutions

• Develop engaging course content and e-learning modules

• Facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions and pilot training

• Maintain content repository and publish to LMS

Requirements:

• 2-5 years in instructional design or corporate training

• Knowledge of learning technologies and evaluation strategies

• Proficiency in course authoring tools and LMS

• Post-secondary specialization in instructional design or related field

• Technical writing or graphic design experience is a plus
