• Teach up to 3 students at a time at different levels
• Teach online and in-person sessions
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
• Fill in post-lesson notes
• Complete daily student communication updates
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times

• Help students develop self-confidence and self-esteem
• Smiles, high-fives, and positive student experience each shift

• Hands-on development of teaching skills

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
• Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience considered
• Teaching certification is an asset
• Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 French core curriculum

• Some experience teaching/tutoring French at Grade 9–12 (or equivalent)
• Strong English written and oral communication skills
• Strong French skills and ability to guide students’ understanding
• Ability to multitask and work with up to three students at a time

• In-person role; commute to the Woodbridge location required
• Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory
• Availability during after-school and evening hours (4:00 pm–8:00 pm) and some Saturdays (10:00 am–3:00 pm); commitment through the end of the school year preferred; summer continuation encouraged

$18–$19 per hour
