Elementary Teacher​/Tutor Part-Time Position

Become an integral part of Oxford Learning Maple as a part-time Teacher/Tutor, focusing on fostering skills in elementary students. This is an in-person role without the need for lesson creation.

We are seeking enthusiastic tutor-teachers who enjoy working with younger students in our learning center. This part-time position offers a structured schedule, requiring commitment through the school term and potentially beyond. Training in our unique teaching philosophy is provided, ensuring effective student development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct up to three students per session across subjects

• Adhere to Oxford Learning’s teaching methods and philosophies

• Complete post-lesson notes for student assessment

• Engage in regular daily communications about student progress

• Maintain a professional yet friendly demeanor throughout lessons

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in education

• Some experience with K-8 teaching or tutoring

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Ability to teach multiple students concurrently

• Convenient commute to the Maple location
