Oxford Learning High School Teacher-Tutor Position

Shape the future as a part-time Teacher-Tutor in Math and Science at Oxford Learning Maple. Work with high school students from Monday to Thursday evenings and Saturdays to promote academic success.

At Oxford Learning, we are looking for motivated Teacher-Tutors to help students navigate the challenges of math and science for Grades 9-12. This engaging role requires teaching multiple students and using our effective teaching methods that enhance learning. An ongoing commitment through the school year, with the potential to continue through summer, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach various levels to groups of up to 3 students

• Implement Oxford Learning's teaching strategies

• Document daily progress and teaching notes

• Create a supportive and friendly classroom atmosphere

• Complete communication tasks with students' families

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required

• Experience in teaching or tutoring high school curriculum

• Strong math and science knowledge

• Proficient in English communication

• Ability to commute to the Maple location
