Shape future artists at the University of Regina by teaching ART 220 - Two Dimensional Form during Winter 2027. Engage students with practical studio projects in drawing, painting, photography, and more.
The position requires an MFA in a 2D medium or related visual arts field. Ideal candidates will show evidence of a contemporary 2D practice and have university teaching experience. Classes take place on Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 8:15 PM, creating an immersive face-to-face learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging two-dimensional design principles instruction
• Guide hands-on studio projects in multiple media
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain an inclusive classroom environment promoting diverse perspectives
• Coordinate course materials and resources for students
Requirements:
• MFA in 2D medium or related field
• Active contemporary 2D visual arts practice
• Preferably experienced in university teaching
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Available for on-campus teaching in Winter 2027
