Position OverviewITS Electronics is seeking a motivated Dielectric Resonator Oscillators (DRO) / Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillators (OCXO) Technician to support the assembly, tuning, testing, and troubleshooting of high‑frequency RF oscillator products. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technician with practical experience in RF electronics who is looking to grow within a specialized, high‑reliability manufacturing environment.
Employment Details- Hourly Rate: CAD $24–27 (based on experience)
- Practical experience with DRO/OCXO tuning and testing is considered a strong asset and may qualify candidates for compensation at the higher end of the stated salary range
- Hours: 32–40 hours per week
- Employment Type: Full‑time
- Assemble, tune, and test DRO and OCXO
- Perform precision soldering and rework of through‑hole and surface‑mount components
- Perform RF measurements including frequency, phase noise, output power, and stability
- Work with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, frequency counters, and power supplies
- Troubleshoot passive and active RF circuits to component level
- Support environmental and temperature testing
- Document test results and follow production procedures
- Work closely with Engineering and Quality teams to improve yields and processes
- Graduate of a community college electronics program or equivalent technical education preferred
- Demonstrated soldering skills (SMT and through‑hole); ability to perform clean, repeatable, ESD‑safe work is required
- Candidates may be asked to demonstrate soldering skills during the interview process
- Hands‑on experience with RF electronics (passive and active circuits) is preferred
- Understanding of oscillators, frequency sources, and analog electronics
- Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
- Experience with microwave or high‑frequency circuits
- Familiarity with DROs, PLLs, OCXOs, or related RF products
- Experience in aerospace, telecom, or high‑reliability electronics manufacturing
- IPC soldering certification or equivalent experience
- ESD‑safe handling practices
- Stable work schedule with flexibility (32–40 hrs/week)
- Hands‑on exposure to specialized RF and frequency‑control technology
