Dillon’s Land Development group is looking for a Junior Contract Administrator to fill an existing vacancy for our multidisciplinary team of professionals.

You will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience.

This position is based at our Vaughan office. This is a field‑based role, which offers a dynamic schedule that fluctuates with project needs.

Responsibilities What your day will look like Contract Administration
  • Execute and support daily activities in the contract administration department for the construction of land development and municipal infrastructure projects related to water supply, sewers, roads, stormwater management, drainage, site grading, and erosion control.
  • Conduct site visits to collect data, record quantities, observe construction progress/methods, provide project coordination, attend site meetings, and writing of daily progress reports
  • Contribute in office with contract take-offs and cost estimates and the preparation of tender specifications and assessment schedules
  • Become familiar with applicable design codes, standards, specifications, and guidelines used in the engineering/construction industry
  • Assure that client's needs are identified, monitored, and addressed in a timely manner
  • Provide clear and concise communication with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Participate in training courses as requested

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related fields
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills,
  • including the ability to work in a team environment
  • Motivated and dedicated to self‑development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Valid Class “G” Driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Experience
  • Hands‑on experience with topographic surveying equipment is considered an asset
Compensation

$60,500 - $75,000

Dillon is including the salary range that we in good faith believe may offer for this position. It will be dependent on the successful applicant’s education, experience, and skills, in addition to internal equity and geographic region. Dillon reserves the right to pay outside of the posted range, contingent on factors unrelated to an applicant’s gender or other status protected by provincial and/or federal law.
