Our Geotechnical Team in Ontario is expanding and we are now looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This position is located in Vaughan, Ontario but we would consider applicants in the greater Toronto area as well that have good geotechnical skills from projects such as transportation, highways, rail, municipal roads and bridges.

- Work closely with a variety of Atkins
Réalis professionals in multiple sectors such as transportation, rail & transit, energy, cities and developments as well as industrial. - Participate on multidisciplinary teams and projects and will be expected to collaborate on multidisciplinary projects of all scales.
- Execute major programs, supporting complex proposals, mentoring of junior staff, as well as act as technical reference.
- Develop and expand our infrastructure geotechnics capability by building on the existing portfolio of our rapidly expanding, flexible and outward looking team that can tackle work across a broad spectrum of sectors.

- Must have 5+ years of strong Geotechnical Engineering experience with at least one of those years of practicing Geotechnical Engineering in Ontario holding Professional Engineering License (P.Eng) in Ontario.
- A strong academic background with a relevant university degree.
- Proven experience in highways, rail, municipal roads and bridges.
- Proven experience of acting in an intermediate/senior role in an engineering consultancy environment and geotechnical design experience.
- Project management - experience and understanding of the needs and approaches to the engineering consultancy and design markets, including relationships with clients, and work planning.
- Application of Design Standards and Guidelines in a design and field work ground investigation environment.
