Hybrid (2 days on-site / 3 days remote)

The department is experiencing a high workload due to multiple new projects and requires support for system planning activities.

• Perform electrical engineering analysis, implement modeling, and develop tools for distribution system studies.
• Prepare long-term load forecasts and system capacity assessments.
• Propose system expansion projects to ensure adequate capacity for system needs.
• Complete system capacity studies, growth demand analysis, and long-term forecasts.
• Implement and oversee processes to capture, verify, and analyze asset attributes and performance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and system developments for impact and customer use.
• Assist in developing innovative energy solutions with other business units.
• Address present and future system needs for capacity, reliability, and asset planning.
• Conduct system development evaluations and benchmarking to ensure capital investments meet performance standards.
• Perform and update engineering and technical system planning studies considering traditional and emerging solutions.

• Experience in planning within a utility company.
• Proficiency with ETAP or PSS/E software.
• Electrical Engineering degree.

• AutoCAD experience.
• PMP certification.

Tools/Software: ETAP, PSS/E, AutoCAD, Python
