Advantages
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a growing Civil Engineering firm offering WFH flexibility.
Responsibilities
Design & Drafting:
Create preliminary and detailed 2D/3D drawings for municipal projects (sewer, water, site grading, road corridors) using Civil 3D.
Modeling & Analysis:
Develop complex 3D surface models, perform grading design, and calculate earthworks volumes.
Ensure all drawings comply with municipal, provincial/state, and company CAD standards.
Technical Documentation:
Prepare reports, tender packages, as-built drawings, and construction specifications.
Coordination:
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to address technical issues and ensure project milestones are met.
Survey Data Usage:
Import and process raw survey field data into drafting software.
Qualifications
Education:
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Design, or Drafting Technology.
Software Proficiency:
Expert knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience:
4+ years of experience in municipal or land development engineering.
Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of municipal infrastructure design, surveying techniques, and construction practices.
