Join a dedicated team as a Full-Time Materials Engineer in Vaughan, focusing on materials analysis and testing. Bring your expertise to enhance material properties and operational testing.
This permanent position seeks a candidate with 3 to 5 years of experience in physical metallurgy and materials science.
Your role will include conducting chemical and physical analyses, as well as co-ordinating testing during metal refining and smelting processes. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct studies on materials' properties and characteristics
• Perform chemical and physical analytical studies
• Analyze failures and recommend corrosion control measures
• Co-ordinate production testing for refining and smelting
• Oversee operational testing and quality control measures
Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge in physical and extractive metallurgy
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
• Permanent residency or valid work permit in Canada
