Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Zendesk tickets are handled in a timely manner.
• Support customers worldwide by phone, email, Team Viewer and on site.
• Document, maintain and follow up on all customer inquiries through the Tracking System database.
• Assist in debugging, fault finding and root cause analysis of prototype and standard machines, including system level testing and PLC programs, in-house and at the customer’s site.
• Create training materials and train customers in the use of company products.
• Install and commission new equipment.
• Calibrate and verify testers.
• Maintain and repair testers onsite.
• Assist Project Managers with open issues on equipment in-house and at customer sites, for Factory Acceptance Tests (F.A.T.) and Site Acceptance Tests (S.A.T.).
• Validate and verify application performance on new and existing D&V products as required.
• Process, monitor and follow up on completion of RMAs as assigned.

• Sc. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Five or more years in a technical support role.
• Outstanding troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities for electronic, electromechanical, and electrical systems.
• Excellent customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Advanced knowledge of electronic circuit applications.
• Advanced knowledge of computers and programming.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, programmers, and sales professionals.
• Familiarity with automotive electromechanical systems and electronics is an asset.
• Willingness and ability to travel (drive and fly) to the USA and overseas.
• Valid passport and driver’s license.

• Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year.
