Inspection & Grading Supervisor

Oversee inspection and grading activities with the City of Vaughan. This full-time role emphasizes municipal collaboration in site plan and subdivision processes, addressing key community needs.
As a Supervisor in the Development Engineering Department, you will guide inspection activities for new developments and manage escalated lot grading issues. Your qualifications include a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology alongside ample municipal experience to effectively administer site plans and servicing agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise grading and inspection of subdivisions

• Manage site inspections and compliance assessments

• Resolve escalated grading complaints between parties

• Facilitate servicing agreements in municipal processes

• Adhere to Vaughan Design Criteria and standards
Requirements:

• Three-year diploma in Civil Engineering Technology

• Seven years in municipal design and project oversight

• C.E.T. membership and relevant certifications

• Training in Erosion and Sediment Control

• Competency in traffic manual and construction practices
