WSP Senior Structural Engineer

Position: WSP Senior Structural Engineer Role
Contribute to vital infrastructure projects as a Senior Structural Engineer at WSP in Thornhill. This role engages your leadership and design skills in water and solid waste management.
As a senior technical lead, you will spearhead the structural design of key water treatment and wastewater facilities. Your work will involve mentoring early-career engineers and ensuring that all projects meet environmental and community needs through precise structural integrity and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct structural engineering analyses for treatment plants and landfills

• Produce complete structural designs utilizing engineering judgment

• Offer specifications and support for client-focused project delivery

• Conduct site assessments and enhance existing facilities

• Provide construction support through technical documentation
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with over a decade of experience

• P.Eng. designation and knowledge of international codes

• Proficient in STAAD.Pro, BIM
360, and Revit design software

• Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and field inspections

• PMP designation or Master’s in Structural Engineering preferred
