Magna Applications Engineer in Automotive

This role offers the opportunity to influence automotive project design through rigorous application engineering. You will participate in critical design reviews and closely monitor compliance with engineering disciplines, ensuring product quality and manufacturability. By engaging with both quality and manufacturing teams, you'll drive initiatives for reducing warranty issues and improving product cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform finite element structural analysis on designs

• Support new program launches with engineering insights

• Review and validate designs against project specifications

• Collaborate on design and manufacturing feasibility

• Implement corrective actions based on analysis results

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required

• Experience in automotive development is essential

• Preferred P.Eng. designation

• Knowledge in APQP, GD&T, and FMEA is essential

• Strong communication skills required
