Position: Automotive Applications Engineer Opportunity
Join Magna Exteriors as an Automotive Applications Engineer and play a key role in developing state-of-the-art vehicle technologies. Your engineering skills will support program launches and ensure design feasibility.

As part of Magna’s Exteriors team, you will engage in hands-on automotive product development. This position requires the ability to audit designs and collaborate effectively with manufacturing engineers. You will utilize your knowledge of core engineering tools and methodologies to drive product quality and cost reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support new automotive program launches with engineering insights

• Review designs for adherence to established practices

• Analyze product specifications and implement solutions

• Work with stakeholders on design feasibility and cost reduction

• Conduct root cause analysis with quality teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Preferred P.Eng. designation

• Relevant automotive experience required

• Proficiency in FMEA, GD&T, and APQP

• Flexible for travel across North America
