Plastic Moulded Product Mechanical Designer

In North West GTA, we are seeking a Mechanical Designer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. You will lead the creation of detailed 3D models and drawings, ensuring designs are cost-effective and fulfill regulatory standards. Active engagement in cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives will drive success in your projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop precise 3D models for HVAC plastic components

• Participate actively in new product development initiatives

• Create and maintain key engineering documentation

• Oversee drawing releases and manage document control

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure manufacturability

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable major

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design

• Proficient in 3D CAD software like Autodesk Inventor

• Solid understanding of GD&T and ISO standards

• Strong independent work ethic and communication skills
