Position: Kitchener Senior Manufacturing Engineer Role
Global automotive manufacturer in Kitchener is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to improve plant process efficiencies. Lead various engineering projects and collaborate cross-functionally.

Bringing 3-5 years of relevant manufacturing experience, you'll engage in feasibility studies and enhance process capabilities within our dynamic environment.

Your role will focus on applying Lean principles, conducting safety audits, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. You'll be pivotal in shaping the future of production at our site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize manufacturing processes using engineering principles

• Conduct capacity and feasibility assessments for equipment

• Assist in engineering and process changes with teams

• Develop tooling drawings and perform audits

• Define requirements for Part Trial Runs (PTRs)

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing

• Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems

• Proficiency in CAD software for tooling design

• Lean Manufacturing expertise and practices knowledge
