Position: CAD Designer for Rail and Transit
Join WSP as a CAD Designer specializing in Cable Containment for Rail and Transit projects. You will design cutting-edge transit infrastructure, directly impacting mobility across Canada.

In this collaborative role within the Rail & Transit team, you will bring your CAD expertise to model 2D and 3D guideway infrastructure and cable systems. With a focus on delivering meticulous drawings and supporting multidisciplinary teams, your contributions will shape the future of transit projects. You’ll ensure adherence to rigorous standards while documenting design changes and producing cohesive packages for client review.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design 2D and 3D cable containment systems

• Produce 3D models for transit infrastructure

• Prepare coordinated drawing packages for clients

• Support teams through design and construction phases

• Document and manage design changes during projects

Requirements:

• Engineering technology diploma or degree

• 5 years of experience in design roles

• 2+ years as a CAD/CADD Designer

• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Familiar with rail communication technologies
