Intermediate Electrical Engineer

Our client, a leading electrical and mechanical engineering firm, seeks an experienced Intermediate Electrical Engineer/Designer. You will work in a dynamic environment on various projects, preparing drawings, specifications, and completing electrical load calculations.

Your role will significantly contribute to project management and the realization of effective electrical systems while adhering to relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Electrical Manager

• Produce schematic, tender, and construction documents

• Prepare lighting layouts and electrical load calculations

• Conduct site reviews for renovation information

• Manage construction through drawings, site reviews, and progress draws

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical consulting

• Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and CSA standards

• Proficient in AutoCAD;
Revit MEP experience is an asset

• Strong communication and independent work skills

• Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn
