Magna Powertrain is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with 5 to 7 years of automotive experience to improve complex powertrain systems. This position requires a deep understanding of manufacturing methods and quality control standards, along with proficiency in CAD tools like Solid Works. You will lead projects to develop and implement new manufacturing procedures while enhancing cost efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and optimize manufacturing processes for high volume production

• Develop specifications and procure equipment to meet production criteria

• Design tooling and fixtures to satisfy manufacturing objectives

• Collaborate on technical training for manufacturing staff

• Analyze process flows to enhance cost reduction and quality

Requirements:

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• 5 to 7 years in the automotive domain

• Experience with problem-solving tools: FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma

• Knowledge of QS9000/IATF
16949 and ISO
14001 standards

• Familiarity with robotic controls and CNC equipment
