Geotechnical Engineer (P.Eng.) – Major Bridge Infrastructure Project – Ottawa-Gatineau Region | On-Site

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer (P.Eng.) to join a high-profile bridge infrastructure project in the National Capital Region. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a landmark transportation project and work alongside multidisciplinary teams on complex engineering challenges.

• Lead geotechnical investigations, field programs, and subsurface assessments
• Design and analyze foundation systems, including piles, caissons, and spread footings
• Perform seismic and liquefaction assessments for bridge infrastructure
• Evaluate retaining structures, embankments, and slope stabilization solutions
• Provide technical support during construction, including site reviews and monitoring
• Ientify and mitigate geotechnical and construction-related risks
• Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

• P.Eng. designation in Ontario and/or Quebec (or eligibility to obtain)
• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
• Strong bridge and heavy civil infrastructure project experience is required
• Expertise in foundation engineering, soil mechanics, and seismic design
• Experience with geotechnical software such as Geo Studio, PLAXIS, or gINT
• Excellent technical, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• French-English bilingualism is considered an asset

This position requires regular on-site presence in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Candidates with significant bridge infrastructure experience will be given preference.
