Enhance vehicle development with your expertise as a Senior Cost Engineer. Take charge of cost estimation and collaborate with engineering for efficient designs.
In this pivotal role, you will own the cost estimating processes within the Vehicle Program team and guide cost management strategies. Work closely with experts in drivetrain, body, lighting, and more to ensure that component costs align with program goals while maintaining high quality. Your contributions will support the successful launch of innovative vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead execution of cost estimating within Vehicle Development
• Develop and maintain the cost database for estimations
• Create detailed cost estimates for components and systems
• Build should-cost models for data-driven insights
• Identify cost reduction strategies with value engineering
Requirements:
• BS or MS in Engineering required
• 10+ years in Cost Engineering or Business Operations
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
• Experience with automotive OEM systems
• Proficient in Google Sheets and analysis tools
