Experienced Design Engineer at Rex Power

This role demands a dedicated engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering and 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in transformer and reactor design. You will be responsible for preparing specifications, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating on compliance efforts with CSA, UL, and IEC Ex standards. Your work will improve product outcomes and the efficiency of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create cost-effective transformer designs

• Guide junior design team members

• Review designs for accuracy and compliance

• Enhance existing designs for labor and material efficiency

• Liaise with purchasing for material requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering

• 4 to 5 years in related manufacturing processes

• Understanding of hazardous and safety directives

• Proficient in computer applications

• Experience with business processes advantageous
