Join Hitachi Rail as a Project System Design Specialist and shape the future of train control systems.
Your role includes system design, analysis, and compliance evaluation.
In this position, you will lead the design process and ensure that all system features meet customer requirements. Your contributions will include developing subsystem requirements and creating effective design documentation. Collaborate with a team to analyze system performance and prepare necessary deliverables, guiding and mentoring junior engineers along the way.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design signalling systems and communicate requirements
• Analyze system designs for technical compliance
• Develop block design and control tables
• Prepare contract-related technical documentation
• Mentor other engineers on design best practices
Requirements:
• Strong domain knowledge in automated train control
• Knowledge of systems development lifecycle
• Proficiency in engineering tools like DOORS
• Exceptional technical writing skills
• Strong organisational skills to manage projects
