Take on a key role in contamination control at The Boeing Company as a Contamination Control Engineer. This Huntington Beach, CA position demands advanced laboratory skills for aerospace and underwater vehicle projects.
As an integral member of the Huntington Beach Chemical Technology team, you will engage in critical functions that include residue extraction and contamination assessments. You'll work hands-on in a cleanroom while mentoring others.
Experience with varied laboratory settings and aerospace material management will be vital to your success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify and clean high-value aerospace hardware
• Adhere to safety plans in equipment repairs
• Maintain inventory for cleanroom supplies
• Develop new methods for cleaning aerospace hardware
• Conduct particle counts and residue analyses
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences
• At least 1 year in Cleanroom environments
• Handling experience with solvents like MPK
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols
• Ability to repair and maintain older lab instruments
