We are looking for an intern in electrical engineering to join our HVDC team at Hitachi Energy – Montreal. You will be part of a team of talented engineers working for the Systems Design department, reporting to the HVDC Engineering Manager in Canada. You will contribute with system performance studies using RMS and EMT tools. • Support system performance and models team with RMS / EMT studies
• Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of engineering assignments

• Studying or recently graduated on Masters or PhD in electrical engineering or a correlated area
• Passionate about Electric Power Engineering
• Can make the complex simple and show creativity in your approach to problem solving; ready to work in an international and multicultural work environment
• Previous experience with high voltage equipment and electrical drawings schematics is an asset
• Experience with RMS / EMT studies and models will be highly appreciated
• Able to communicate in French and English
