Join Martinrea as a Corporate Joining Engineer, responsible for designing and validating joining processes in the automotive sector.
Your role is crucial in supporting product launches and enhancing operational efficiency within the Metallics Business Unit.
This position requires a minimum of five years’ experience with joining and automation along with a robust understanding of multiple joining technologies. Candidates should have strong organizational abilities and be capable of simultaneously managing various tasks. A background in welding engineering or manufacturing is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and validate joining processes for automated systems
• Provide authoritative advice on process verification
• Specify and purchase capital joining equipment
• Collaborate with product and manufacturing engineering teams
• Support trials and validations at vendor sites
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in a relevant field
• At least 5 years in joining or related industries
• Strong communication and CAD software skills
• Experience with various joining methods
• Effective time management abilities
