Manufacturing Engineer - Quality & Cost Reduction

This role is ideal for candidates with a

B.Sc. in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and a Professional Engineer of Ontario designation. With at least five years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting, particularly in high volume environments, you will lead initiatives to enhance product efficiency and reduce waste. Your expertise in lean manufacturing and project management will drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and implementation of process changes

• Analyze operations using Value Stream Mapping techniques

• Document and standardize work instructions and time standards

• Investigate and resolve manufacturing and design problems

• Research and benchmark industry technologies for improvements

Requirements:

•

B.Sc. in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering

• Mandatory Professional Engineer of Ontario designation

• Five years’ experience in a relevant manufacturing field

• Familiarity with lean tools and Six Sigma methodologies

• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
